This, in a nutshell is what naturopathic nutrition is all about, using whole foods to nourish our bodies and provide it with the essential nutrients we need to stay healthy.

By understanding the physiological and biochemical processes of the body and the nutrients we need to ensure they happen effectively, we really CAN begin to use our food as a medicine.

Part of a nutritionist’s role is to empower their clients to take control of their own health, through an understanding of the impact of what they ingest, on their body. Its about prevention of disease, but more often it’s the last point of call after a long journey with allopathic medicine.
