After some deliberation and encouragement we have decided to open the retreats to anyone in need, not just breast cancer patients. If you have had cancer or medical treatment of any kind, or even if you just feel you are in need of a health boost, you are welcome to join us. More information will be available here shortly on the benefits of the immune boosting diet and exercise workshops included. You can read about the immune system here http://www.vitaretreats.com/breast-cancer/immunity/ Please contact us with any questions.
There is nothing like a scary diagnosis such as breast cancer to rock your world and make you appreciate being alive.
At Vita Retreats our aim is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for you to stay and rejuvenate when you’ve finished your treatment. During the post cancer retreat you’ll discover how to replenish your body through food, do as much or as little exercise as you like. Take time out to read, relax, and to meet others who have been through it too.
Vita Retreats are not spiritual healing retreats, or boot camps. They are all about being healthy and happy. A kick start to the new you.
The wonderful immune boosting eating plan has been put together by our professional nutritionist, and you’ll get great tips on amazing recipes and health properties in the least expected places.
During the stay there will be a mixture of classes and workshops available including Yoga, Pilates, stretching and rehabilitation, osteopathic postural assessment, personal exercise prescription, individual nutrition consultations, cooking with cacao, making mocktails, relaxation and visualisation.
So if you just want some time out, we are here for you!
Our intention is to be a “not-for-profit” organisation and charge the appropriate amount to cover costs. Any profit made will go straight back into the company to reduce prices for future retreats.
